Lake Tahoe, California. I grew up visiting my grandparents cabin in Tahoma every Summer, and it’s still my favorite place in the world.
Most Exotic Destination Traveled
Belize. My family was big on cruises when I was younger, and one of my favorite memories is arriving on the island and seeing the crystal clear waters of Belize for the first time.
On My Bucket List
A proper cross-country road trip. Whether it’s in the states or the countryside of France, I think a good road trip is one of the best ways to explore a new place. Give me a playlist, some new podcasts and a beautiful prospect and I’m a happy camper.

Learn from the locals, but don’t try to be one. Respectfully immerse yourself in all of the culture, history and beauty that surrounds you.

When Abbey isn’t testing recipes or finding the best new restaurants to review, they’re working on their BA at Sarah Lawrence College. Here they study theatre, film and writing. In their free time, Abbey is most likely thrifting a new outfit, cooking for their friends, or dancing in the audience of a local drag show. When traveling, Abbey is a notoriously adventurous eater. Their favorite childhood meal was escargot. They will try anything at least once.
