After a year of athleisure, it’s time to step away from the sweatpants. Enter in Retrofete, a New York-based label founded in 2018, and like its name implies, is bringing the swagger of Studio 54 back.  These are statement dresses, where if you’re looking to blend into the crown molding, maybe aren’t for you.  But if you’re looking to make your grand entrance into civilization, these are the outfits to make your comeback.

Let’s Party 

Retroféte or “vintage party” is a new brand whose founders wanted to bring pieces from decades past back to life with these vintage inspired designs.  Their years of sourcing vintage pieces for family and friends can definitely be seen in their new designs, but each piece has a distinct Retroféte twist to it. 

Making Your Entrance 

The sparkle is definitely one of those twists, giving each piece a wow factor that definitely makes a statement.  Studio 54 and other 60’s and 70’s inspirations are on the twenty year fashion cycle, so be sure to see these styles on the backs of every fashion forward fan for the next ten years.  With this in mind it’s no surprise that, currently, their most searched for piece is the “gabrielle dress” which is a shimmering plunge neck cocktail dress.
