We are hard at work this summer between some heavy sessions in the Hamptons strategizing on our fall short films, feature destinations and the re-launch of our Reviews.  Our goal is to create the most discerning community of travel reviews, which will be based on our First Class Members and Tastemaker real experiences.  We’re not looking to average out the general population.  Personally, I’ve never aimed to be average in my entire life, and if you’re reading this, you probably aren’t average either.  We are a self-selecting community; each of our First Class Members is a Tastemaker, who can run circles around any traditional travel agent on the best restaurants, clubs, hotels and insider tips around the world.  That’s because we really travel ourselves, and it’s that value that is going to distinguish our Reviews from anyone else in the marketplace.  We are excited to have you with us for the adventure. 

For those who are in Brazil for the Olympics, we have a bonus this summer of one of my personal favorite hotels in the world, the Ponta dos Ganchos outside of Florianopolis.  It’s a destination worthy itself to hop on an airplane for a long weekend; you can never leave the small fishing village where it resides, and still get a big dose of Brazilian culture, natural beauty, incredible food and just sublime experience at this special resort.  We hope that you are enjoying the summer, and finding your own corners of the world.
