I don’t know if it’s getting older, or time flies when you are having fun, but it’s amazing to me that we are halfway through 2017.  In our 6 ½ years of business, this year has passed more quickly than ever, and I think it’s because of all of the reasons above.   I have spanned the globe, finding the next best places we can take you on travels.  Not only can you read about them on Galavante, you can see the world through our short films, as well as create your own travel experiences through our Galavante concierge.  We do it all from start to finish – air, hotels and insider experiences.  We are unique from your travel agent because we’ve actually danced on that table at Nikki Beach, found that private vineyard in Tuscany and summited the top of Kilimanjaro, along with so many experiences in between.  We know travel, having covered over 700+ luxury hotels around the world.  It’s why after 3 years of booking travel, we can proudly say that no one does it better. 

In looking back on this first half of 2017, I feel gratitude.  My New Year’s resolution was to share more of my travel with friends and family.  I have done exactly that, to exotic locales like Kuwait, Bahrain and the Seychelles, as well as more mainstream destinations like Stockholm, Oslo and Mallorca.  It is interesting how travel reflects where you are in your life.  Before this year, I normally traveled alone.  It was just the time in my life that I needed to span the globe building Galavante’s business, and personally, I wanted to get to know myself again.  I traveled to places that were challenging, including Rwanda, Tanzania and throughout the Middle East.  I’m still traveling to the exotic, which truth be told, is my specialty.  Now though, I’m revisiting places like the South of France, where I will take my first vacation since I started Galavante, and trending destinations like Malta and Corsica.  All will be with entourage, because now I’m at a stage where I’m open to sharing my world experiences, not just through Galavante, but also with those that I love.  My heart is open, and it’s because of travel.  Wishing  you the best adventures this summer.
