This week also begins our THANKFUL series, where we will feature the non-profits that we devote ourselves to at Galavante. While we travel to some of the most overwhelmingly beautiful places in the world, we are well aware that the meaning of life is not about 1000+ thread count sheets. Our Founders build libraries for children in Africa, fund entrepreneurs who work to ameliorate poverty through microfinance and teach children about volunteerism. It is the working part of the “Travel for the Working Jet Set” which keeps us grounded, and Thanksgiving is just one of the many times of the year that we are grateful for what we have.

For me, this year has been one of the most extraordinary of my life in launching Galavante. It has been a learning experience, and I am overwhelmed with the support and encouragement I have received from you. I am thankful for the opportunity to pursue my passion of travel and writing through Galavante. I am thankful for the exceptional Galavante Founders, Board of Advisors and village of talent putting their hearts into making Galavante a success. And above all, I am grateful to all the readers of Galavante, whose support and feedback are shaping the direction of our company.
