The private hotel club is apparently all the rage nowadays. The heavies have their hats in the ring, recently joined by Cipriani, the place of the beautiful people. Set in a historic maritime building from 1906, this is where to people watch day into night. If you’re a member, of course. Or if you are a guest at the Casa Cipriani NYC art deco hotel.
It’s no secret that the Cipriani family knows hospitality. Their venues are where major events go down in New York City. Everything from amFAR, the unofficial kickoff to New York Fashion Week, to Cipriani Downtown. The latter is where on any given night, you’ll see Leo, Jay Z, Bey – you get the drift. So when the Ciprianis decide to open up a private club, you know it’s going to be good. Add in a hotel, and you have yourself a more elegant Soho House.
There’s an application process to join Casa Cipriani NYC. However, unlike their night club, Socialista, where you have to be a super model to get in, it seems more inclusive. Inclusive that is, for the top of the New York City food chain. For $3,600 annually, you get access to the private dining club and clubhouse facilities. In addition to the 40+ hotel rooms, there’s a spa, gym and event spaces. Early reviews from our Galavante members who have joined are positive. Spaces are nice to work in and people watch during the day. And of course, the food is Cipriani, all the way.
