Welcome to the Rockhouse, which yes, is for rock stars, but really named for the rock that the hotel is built into, overlooking the Caribbean. The private bungalows are low-key and besides that view, have their own terraces to dive right into the sea. It’s where the likes of Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, the Rolling Stones, Bob Marley and a host of other super models like to get in their Jamaica state of mind. For a place this trendy, the service is excellent, where you don’t need to be a big name and they are cool to everyone. Another aspect of the hotel, that is actually even better than staying there, is the restaurant. Besides its sister restaurant Miss Lily’s, the view and vibe at the Rockhouse are hard to beat in Negril, as is the crab quesadilla and coconut shrimp, which are highlights of their fine dining menu. Whether you stay there or eat at the restaurant, Rockhouse is a definite yes on your visit to Jamaica.
